5 Athletes from Tampereen Pyrintö competing in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games

EMCA’s club member, Tampereen Pyrintö, is Finland’s leading Multisport Club with eight different sports sections. Athletes from five of these sections are currently representing Finland at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Reetta Hurske, European Indoor Champion 2023, 6th European championships 2024 Rome with the record of 12,68 (2024) is competing in the 100m hurdles together with Lotta Harala who is the current Finnish record holder 12,65 (2024). Ella Junnila, bronze medalist at the 3rd European Indoor championships Torun 2021, 6th place at the European championships Rome 2024 and Finnish record holder 197 cm is currently competing in the high jump event. Urho Kujanpää, Universiade winner 2023, is competing in the pole vault and Saga Vanninen, U20 World Champion 2021 and 2022, European Champion 2023 (U23), 2021 (U20) and Silver medalist at the World Indoor Championships 2024 is competing in the Heptathlon.
