4 of Sant Cugat Creix athletes are representing Spain at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games
One of EMCA’s newest members, Sant Cugat Creix are pleased to announce with great pride that four of their local athletes are competing in the most prestigious international sporting event, the Paris Olympics.
The athletes Bruno Font and Julia Strappatto from Junior FC will try to fight for a place among the best state field hockey teams. It will be the first appearance of these athletes from Sant Cugat at an Olympic event. Jael Bestué sprinter athlete who returns to the Olympic event, after competing in Tokyo 2021 in the 200 meter event. This year, however, the woman from Sant Cugat will compete in the 200 meters and 4×100 relay. The sprinter will look to qualify for the 200m semi-finals and the relay final, and Paula Ramirez swimmer who will participate for the second time in the Olympic Games in the team mode of artistic swimming, after competing for the first time in Tokyo 2021.
Their efforts have not only brought them to the elite of world sport, but also serve as an inspiration for future generations of athletes from Sant Cugat. Good luck to everyone!
