EMCA has been partner of the European Commission in sports from the start of the sport budgeting in the European Union. As part of the partnership network, EMCA partcipates in the EWoS and BeActive progammes with its specific duty as the representative of European multisport and the representative of the European multisport clubs. EMCA participates in the promotion activities of EWoS and BeActive with its multisport club members, but also directly with specific activities. One of them is dedicated EMCA conferences dealing with particular topics. In September 2023 in Piraeus, Greece, we organised the EMCA Conference „Multisport and the Municipality“ (link to the conference HERE). Our next conference is set for 27 September 2025 in Istanbul, Turkey, with the theme „AI (Artificial Intelligence) and (Multi)Sport“.
