EMCA Connect Istanbul: EU Teq Games
During the EMCA Connect Autumn 2025 weekend in Istanbul, the EU Teq Games project was presented as part of the EMCA Projects Poster Walk, showcasing how Teqball and related TeqSports can drive youth engagement and inclusion through sport.
The EURO TEQ GAMES initiative introduced Teqball and TeqSports into multisport clubs across Europe to promote healthy lifestyles, inclusion, and community participation. The project combined coach education, youth training sessions, open days with nutritional workshops, and two international tournaments.
Implemented across six countries by a consortium of leading clubs and organisations — including Feyenoord (Netherlands), S.S. Lazio Teqball (Italy), Olympiacos (Greece), Levski Sport for All (Bulgaria), HASK Mladost (Croatia), and Aalborg (Denmark) — the project also developed a multilingual digital platform to share resources and best practices, ensuring its sustainability beyond the project’s lifetime.
EMCA coordinated the project.
