Strong presence from EMCA at EU Sport Forum 2025

The European Multisport Club Association (EMCA) actively participated in the EU Sport Forum 2025, held on 10–11 April in Krakow, Poland.
This annual flagship event of the European Commission brings together key stakeholders in the European sports sector to foster dialogue and shape policy on crucial issues for the future of sport.
EMCA was represented by Vice President Gabriella Bascelli and Board Member Bojan Mijatovic, who took part in high-level discussions and contributed to thematic sessions addressing the challenges and opportunities ahead for the European sports ecosystem.
Their presence at the Forum focused on several pivotal topics, including:
- The strengthening of the European Sport Model, based on principles of solidarity, inclusiveness, and transparency
- The role of Artificial Intelligence and new technologies as tools to enhance the sports experience
- The well-being and protection of athletes, with attention to their needs across all levels of sport
- The importance of sport in education and its contribution to EU enlargement, with a special focus on younger generations and intercultural cooperation
The participation of EMCA’s representatives highlighted the Federation’s continuous commitment to supporting policy frameworks that link sport with society, innovation, education, and European integration.
