Fechtclub Graz

Fechtclub Graz is an Austrian club founded in 2019 in the associated city. The founders wanted to created a highly innovative organization, whose highest achievement is to make people forget about the stressful everyday life.

Therefore their two head coaches Elisabeth Knechtl (worldcup winner womens epee 1989 & 1990) and Dr. Joachim Wargalla (former head of the Olympic training center Köln-Bonn-Leverkusen) are responsible to organise training sessions with high diversity. Due to their close cooperation with the board of the club, it became one of the most successful fencing clubs in Austria in just one year.
