The first in-person Erasmus+ Sport Info Day

The European Commission and European Education and Culture Executive Agency hosted the first in-person Erasmus+ Sport Info Day on January 30, 2023, since the Covid-19 pandemic.

EMCA’s participants were informed about the and funding opportunities of the Erasmus+ program and were given the opportunity to network and initiate contacts with potential project partners.

The panel of speakers, including our President of Assembly, Vanina Milanova, discussed policy and provided tips on preparing and submitting project proposals. The participants also had the opportunity to better understand the program in terms of
* The political context
* Steps towards simplification
* Submitting proposals-advice and tips.

The sessions, moderated by members of the European Commission, illustrated how the Erasmus+ program opens up to the world of sport, providing practical examples of how possible it is to finance innovative practices and projects through Erasmus+.

Practical workshops were proposed for new candidates, providing a good opportunity for participants to learn how to search for offers on the funding portal, register their organization and submit annual reports. In addition, further information was provided about preparing budgeting projects.
