Like last year, maybe even more. The cooperation among our Multisport Clubs grows strong and our General Assembly in Brussels was an authentic success in terms of engagement and participation. Old, new and present projects were at the centre of our stage, brilliantly held by our President Vanina Milanova and our Secretary General Federico Eichberg.
Twelve were the EMCA Clubs present, with the addition of two new entities who joined our network: Tampereen Pyrinto and Feyenoord, whose application was accepted, making them the twentieth and the twenty-first club of our Association. «Our meeting in January is becoming a tradition – said Vanina Milanova ad the beginning of the event -, especially because this month is very significant for us: in 2013 EMCA was founded indeed during this month».
The General Assembly revealed itself an occasion to strengthen the network, giving the opportunity to old and new friends – this was the first appearance for Polisportiva Pontevecchio and Wiener-Sports-Club – to exchange views about the development of our Association, in terms of actions and projects. Sport MyWAY, Welcome, Whistle, Multisport Coaches Across Europe, GreenPlay and SafeYou were just few of the topics that were touched during the meeting, that seen also the presentation of the brand new Project You’reHope, promoted by Olympiacos SFP.
Present and past were also accompanied by a fruitful session dedicated to future, with new ideas and projects coming out from the meeting. Sport & Health, Integration, promoting of sport as a powerful tool of gender equality, and so on, were discussed with passion and enthusiasm by all our members and our Team, that are now waited to a new challenge: put in practice all those great ideas emerged during this great day of Multisport. And we are looking forward to do it!
