ANNUAL ASSEMBLY IN ROME

The annual general assembly in Rome was held with great success, taking place in person this year, in Rome in June 2022. A dinner was held with EMCA members the evening before the assembly. providing an excellent opportunity for all members to reconnect in person and strengthen networks.  

The assembly held a number of activities including the ratification of decisions made by the Executive Committee over the last year, as well providing an overview for members as to the work being done in various sectors of EMCA, including network development, project management, financial budgets and strategic planning in marketing and communication. 5 New members were also welcomed into the network: LUGI (Sweden), FH (Iceland), IRAKLIS (Greece), ARIS (Greece) and GALATASARAY (Turkey).  

Strategic conversations were held to start work on the creation of new proposals for European Erasmus+ Programs, where innovation, solidarity, digitization and sports are the main basic elements to consider. Further consideration was also given to other funding opportunities such as Intereg and Horizon.
